I like the blocks in general. Like Lego but even more freedom for creation.

One point deduction but because some of the pieces are very cheap and bad manufactured.
My nieces and nephews live this style of building block and this set has a unique feature - some of the blocks light up! This adds a wonderful dimension to their world-building. There are four patterns that have lit versions (it took me a while to work out how to identify the light up blocks from the rest so maybe there are more) with more blocks in the same patterns that don't light up
Then there are a few special patterns like window, fireplace and wood as well as some figurines.
The light up blocks have a button on one surfac that toggles though the different functions- on continuous, flashing, slow blink and off.
My favourite is the slow blink.
My kids had a great time playing with this magnetic piece set. The LED light blocks were especially interesting, with options for constant light, blinking, and breathing modes. They run on button batteries, but the instructions didn’t explain how to replace them, so I’m not sure how to change them when they run out.
The magnets work much like other magnetic blocks my kids have used before. When building structures like houses, they can sag if there isn’t enough support. The set also includes some fun character pieces, though they aren’t magnetic.
Overall, it’s a great set that kept my kids entertained and encouraged them to be creative.
This adds another level of creativity to the magnetic block sets you might've already gotten - it's a really cool addition to your block collection. The parts are as usual - good stuff, and fun for a variety of age groups. And the new fancy LED parts - I love the LEDs! I wish there were more in the pack, but the 18 LED pieces are fun as they are, for sure. Really great enhancement to this type of kit!

The quality of these blocks is top-notch, and the LED glowing parts are a total surprise that makes building extra fun and eye-catching 😍.
The only catch is that the glowing pieces use a tiny side switch to turn on, and I’m still figuring out how to swap the batteries once they run out—hoping that doesn’t dim this set’s charm 😅.

My kids have TONS of these magnet cubes and getting these new ones have invigorated their imagination and play with them once more.
Theyre the standard 2cm cubes, but with some of the included ones in the set having a small button; that when pressed will toggle light modes. From on, to 'beating' to off. I find it quite amazing theyre able to squeeze all of this into such a small and rugged package.
My boy was super excited about it and didnt want to mix the new pieces with his old pieces just yet.
The light that the blocks produce - is mixed.
Some blocks came out of the box with very faint light, almost out of battery really. Others were super bright !
I couldnt see any way to change the battery without forcing a dismantle of the cube - which I havent done yet. Nor were instructions provided on how to do this.
Sadly, being unable to replace batteries makes this a kind of disposable toy. Which, although quite innovative and quite different from the standard cube, makes me a bit sad. Because the kids will now have to "restrain" their usage of the light so it doesnt go empty.
I may try to smash one of the faint ones later to see how i could replace the battery and then glue it back together.
The figurines it comes are cut, but, my kids dont care for figurines.
Overall i'd give it 4 stars.

loses 1 star as it's disposable since you cant change the battery in any obvious non-damaging way and the fact that 2 of the cubes that came are almost flat.
My son loves MC and this heavily borrows from the MC aesthetic.
He loves building houses and also playing with the little included MC figurines.
Definately a fun and low-key enducational toy for kids.
My son still struggles with lego so assembling objects out of these is much more forgiving because of the magnetic snap-together nature of the blocks. It means he is practicing his fine motor skills while still getting the sense of accomplishment of building something.
These are especially cool because there are blocks that have LEDs inside that glow.
Would make a great gift, especially for a child who likes snow/ice themed toys.
Gave this set to my cousin who loves Minecraft and they love it, the blocks aren't super strongly magnetic so they're kid friendly, and includes a few special light up blocks which add to the immersion. This set is the winter biome set, and I look forward to getting them the basic set to round it out. Blocks themselves are pretty well made, and the included bag makes it easy to tidy up, but I recommend keeping the box so they can just dump it in.
The packaging looks nice. Perfect for gifting.
It comes with a pouch to store the cubes once the little ones finish playing with it.
It might just be me, but i find the magnetic pull between the cubes is a bit on the weak side.
It is still enough to hold the structure of what my nieces were building though.

These are awesome blocks, particularly for children with dexterity issues as they snap together and stay together. Being very well made cubic plastic forms, they fit tightly together and align well, which appeals to the OCD child, or adult for that matter. They are brightly coloured and this set includes some blocks that have LEDs inside. The LED blocks have a switch on the top that means they don’t quite sit as flat as the others when building, but they have the light thing going for them, so they can be forgiven for not quite fitting as well as the others.

The kids like them. They are a subgenre of building blocks and certainly rely on the popularity of another trade marked franchise.
We ordered this as an accompaniment to 2 other sets of similar magnetic building blocks. They go well and definitely the more blocks the better. The lights are not that bright but they do add interest. The magnets aren't really strong but just strong enough.
The value proposition is not great.

My little one likes this set. She finds it is easy to connect the blocks due to the magnetic feature and i like that they have to use their little imaginations to fuel their creations. She is into MC and likes that you get 3 characters in this set, apparently one is called a creeper. She is already asking for another set to increase her creation.
There are certain blocks that light up which is pretty fun and i like that it comes with a nice bag for tidying up and storing away when not in use.
These building blocks are such a hit in my house.
All of the kids love them. And it keeps them busy for hours , comes as described.
I really liked how cute and tiny these were without being overly weighty. The magnet strength, however, is quite delicate and I did find that sometimes the blocks would not stick together on certain sides so they were a little bit particular about how they wanted to be stacked. Overall, this made for some creative designs to be made. I was disappointed that in this box of the blocks that did light up at least one did not work straight up. It was very disappointing, but once lit you have three different options for the LED light which I thought was really cute. You can put them together in the design and it looks it looks really nice.
Overall, I think this product was really fun to play with. It does make clicking noise every time you pull them apart as you can hear the magnets moving around- which for a parent can be quite annoying and repetitive. But for a kid that is looking for that audio stimulation and really enjoys those irritating noises... This will be perfect for them.
Great little toy for your creative imaginative play kids who really like tactile play. If you are not an imagination kid, you do have your little figurines to do your realistic play interpretation. Overall, I would give this a 4 out of 5 Stars, a reasonably good starter pack that does allow a dynamic number of different sceneries to be created. It does also come with a little prompt book does not give you instructions on how to build those things. So you are at the mercy of your imagination to try and understand the 3D element of the blocks being put together, which I found particularly annoying, but for organic play- Excellent.

The LED light blocks have 3 different lighting modes. Not all of the light blocks worked in the set we were sent. The batteries in these light up blocks can't be replaced. The battery life is reported to be about 20 hours. There is a button on the top to turn them on.
The set comes with a handy bag to store the blocks in. The set also comes with 3 characters to add to your Winter play. This set is great for creative play.
it is a good magnetic set to explore creative side of kids. It comes with a few specific patterns and also a few patterns with LED lights. That gives a very good impression when built and can be used accordingly. there are 3 characters inside the set as well. Given all, one thing I have noticed that there is no way tochange the batteries. In short, once LEDs are dead its dead. Hope to find some solution for that.
I've had some magnetic block sets before, but what sets this one apart is the light up blocks. The kids really like the little lighting effect and it looks really cool as well in my opinion.
The quality of all the blocks are pretty high. They are robust and look really nice as well. This comes with a little storage bag as well making it nice to to bring along on mini-holidays or roadtrips

This set is such a hit at home. The magnets are strong, the pieces feel sturdy, and the glowing blocks really make the builds stand out. I like that the lights turn off on their own after a little while, which makes them safe and saves battery. The only thing to be aware of is the button batteries aren’t replaceable, but it hasn’t been an issue for us so far and i prefer it, safety wise. Overall it’s a creative and engaging toy that keeps the kids busy and entertained

These blocks are great value our 2+ year old granddaughter loves them the magnets are strong enough to hold the blocks together but not so strong that she can pull them apart,
Unfortunately we didn't receive the correct set so we didn't get the LED blocks, I did contact the seller to ask why the wrong set was sent but never heard back from them
